Yuterume TanigawaA popular public spa.You can enjoy three kinds of springs and open air baths here, each of which has different components and temperature.
Approach: 5 minutes from Minakami station by car.6 km from Minakami I.C.
Takaragawa spaThis place is famous for its great open-air baths which are said to be the best in Japan.There is a legend that Yamato Takeru no Mikoto, one of the Gods of Japanese legends, was led here and his disease was cured by the baths.
Approach: 40 minutes from Minakami station by car or bus 18 km from Minakami I.C.

Mizukikokan Tobe's house
MizukikokanIn this building, there is a small aquarium exhibiting the freshwater fish living in the Tone River, and a tunnel-type water tank. Tobe's houseBuilt in the early Edo era, this is one of the most unusual farmhouses left in Japan. Designated as a national treasure, you can sit here and imagine the daily life in the old days.
Ichinokurasawa Mt.Tanigawa Aerial RopeWay
IchinokurasawaThis is one of the most prominent rocky tracts in Japan and a good place for rock-climbers to improve their skills. Mt.Tanigawa Aerial RopeWayFrom the starting point Doai-guci to the terminal station, Tenjin-daira, a high-speed ropeway takes you to the top in only 10 minutes, at a speed of 4m/s.The ride gives you a bird's-eye view of the mountains.
Berusaiyu Art Museum at Minakami no Mori Suwakyo
Berusaiyu Art Museum at Minakami no MoriThis building was modeled after the Versailles Palace.The exhibits are all trick arts imitating the pictures and sculptures in Europe. SuwakyoAt the starting point of the suspension bridge, visitors can see a marvelous view of Mt.Tanigawa and the Tone River.You can stroll on the wooden walkway along the river, watching the changing view of the river.
Terihakyo Suigen no mori
